Cuala Foundation is thrilled to bring #IAmIrish to the United States. The exhibition launched at New York Irish Center in Long Island City on Thursday 8 November 2018. #IAmIrish is a creative exhibition that celebrates the voices and experiences of Irish people everywhere who happen to be mixed race. Curated by Lorraine Maher, photos by Tracey Anderson and Jillian Freyer (NY). Production (NY) by June Kosloff.
Cuala participated in a creative workshop with Dublin’s SAOL Project and NGO Fourth World ATD (All Together in Dignity) highlighting the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals and International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. This is part of a developing cultural project for women in Ireland and the U.S. whose lives are affected by poverty and addiction.
